Being a former physics major, I am intrigued by the application of physics and mathematics to biology. Mathematics can be used as a language to decipher the complex interactions in biology.
Cancer is a disease driven by cells that ‘cheat’ the host. They attain a selective advantage by acquiring mutations and hijacking the natural pathways of the body.
